Prizes for the best poster presentations

At ICAP 2012, 9 prizes for the best poster presentations have been awarded: 3 prizes sponsored by Europhysics Letters (500 € each), and 6 prizes sponsored by the AMO division of the French Physical Society (200 € each).

The prize committee was chaired by Olivier Dulieu (Chair of the AMO division of the French Physical Society, PAMO), Michèle Leduc (co-chair of ICAP 2012) and Graeme Watt (Executive editor at Europhysics Letters, EPL). The committee was composed of 6 experts: S. Bize (Paris), R. Gonzalez-Ferez (Granada), F. Schreck (Innsbruck), A. Simoni (Rennes), A. Sinatra (Palaiseau), P. van der Straten (Utrecht).

The posters awarded by the committee for the EPL Prize were presented by*:

The posters awarded by the committee for the PAMO Prize were presented by*:

• Carlo Sias (Tu166): “Controlling chemical reactions of a single particle” by C. Sias, L. Ratschbacher, C. Zipkes, and M. Köhl;

• Norman Yao (Th147): “Flux lattices and topological flat bands in dipolar spin Systems” by N. Y. Yao, C. Laumann, A. V. Gorshkov, S. D. Bennett, P. Zoller, and M. D. Lukin.

There will be three poster sessions, on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. To find the session in which you will present your poster as well as your poster number, please proceed as follows:

• First find your name in the index of authors. This will give you the page(s) of the book of abstracts where your abstract(s) appear.
• Then consult the poster list and find your poster number (left column) using the abstract page (right column).

Instructions for posters

For each session, the posters must be installed the evening before. For the posters scheduled on the Monday session, please bring your poster with you at the welcome event on Sunday.

The poster boards are 1m large. The preferred format for the posters is A0, portrait orientation.
