Accompanying persons information

The persons accompanying the delegates are invited to take advantage of the many turistic opportunities of Paris and its surrounding. You can have a look at the Paris welcome page. A tourism office will be present at the conference, see the exhibition page. We organise a guided visit of Versailles, see below. We also suggest that you visit the Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte, another wonderful classical palace of the Louis XIV's century in the South of Paris.

 

Two social events of the conference are open to accompanying persons upon registration:

• The Jazz evening of Tuesday night: 30 euros
• The conference dinner of Thursday night: 90 euros

To participate in these events, please don't forget to fill in the form dedicated to accompanying guests on the registration page.

 

Visit of Versailles

In addition, a visit of the Château de Versailles is proposed on Tuesday, 24. The programme is as follows:

• 13:30: Departure in bus from the Ecole Polytechnique - Palaiseau (we advise you to be there between 13:00 and 13:15)
• 14:00 - 16:30: Guided visit of the Château de Versailles and its gardens
• 17:00: Return to the Ecole Polytechnique by bus
