Electronics workshop

The electronics workshop is an important part of the laboratory. Its mission is to provide solutions to experimental teams in the field of electronics.

The main activities of the department consist of analyzing the needs of the teams, assisting and advising researchers on measurement problems, carrying out the study and production of electronic devices as well as their commissioning and monitoring. These activities, mainly oriented towards electronics associated with laser instruments and the acquisition of optical signals, use skills and implement know-how in different areas: servo systems, control, low-noise electronics, frequency synthesis, power electronics, high voltage, programmable logic, micro-programmed systems, data acquisition and programming.

Recent years have been marked by the development and use of digital components such as DDS, microcontrollers and FPGAs on so-called proprietary electronic cards:
