The IT department manages the laboratory’s information system, its architecture, its security and its maintenance (hardware and software).
The service provides advice and assistance in implementing solutions relating to the management, programming or piloting of experiments.
He manages relations with the Information Systems Department of the Sorbonne Paris Nord University and the CNRS.
He participates in the production of the Laboratory’s various communication media; in particular, he is responsible for the development, coordination and updating of the laboratory’s website.
Around thirty servers are deployed by the IT department: Firewalls, directory servers, Web servers, monitoring servers, log servers, remote control servers, software deployment servers, license servers, antivirus servers, print servers, radius servers, backup servers, inventory servers, metrology servers, DNS servers, DHCP servers.
The IT park is made up of around 300 workstations or experimental interfaces, under Windows and Linux.
